Santa Elena Estate is located in the coffee region of El Paraiso in the south of Honduras, bordering Nicaragua. The fertility of the soil, rain patterns, and altitude range made this department a suitable land to grow coffee. The name of the farm comes in honour of the first owner ´s wife. In 2010 the owner of the farm Mario Segura bought the farm and started to produce coffee in his 360 hectares. Nowadays this farm generates jobs for more than eight hundred people.

With the amount of coffee that the farm was producing, don Mario had to build a new wet mill with a larger capacity in order to increase efficiency in the usage of water. State of the art wet mill has the options to process without fermentation or with fermentation.

Having a rich chocolate taste with caramel sweetness and hints of plum and ginger, this coffee is perfect to get you going in the mornings.

Region: El Paraiso

Variety: Catuai Amarillo (Yellow Catuai)

Altitude: 800 - 1,300 metres above sea level

Processing: Washed with prolonged fermentation

SCA Score: 83

Available in 200g, 450g and 1kg re-sealable bags made of recycled materials.

Unbeatable

I absolutely love P&P; it gives me the ability to try such a wide variety of beans from around the world, and removes all of the stress obtaining them for myself! Delivered to my door on a weekly basis for a price of less than two coffee’s out. The note accompanying your beans detailing their origin, flavour profile and giving information on their farmers is a really nice touch also.
Keep up the good work and I’ll keep buying the coffee!

Very tasty coffee! I've not had one bean from this company that I haven't enjoyed!

King of the Monsters

Never mind Gonzilla- this is Godzilla, king of the coffees..an amazing dark roast...try it

This is the stuff!

Guatemalan coffee is my all time favourite so my review is highly biased, that being said, these beans are just outstanding, well done p&p

Great!

First Mexican coffee I’ve had, wasn’t expecting it to be as smooth as this, very nice aftertaste.
