Peru Gonzilla Estate Dark Roast
A creamy body, notes of sweet citrus and aromas of spice distinguish this smooth grade 1 coffee bean from Peru.
Peru, on the western coast of South America, is well known for its biodiversity and varied climates from great plains to the high Andes mountain range. The Gonzilla estate is situated in the mountains at between 1,100 and 1,800 metres above sea level. The cool climate at this altitude means that the coffee fruit matures much more slowly, allowing the flavours to develop inside the bean. This results in a more complex and smooth cup of coffee with very little acidity, making it perfect for all brewing methods. Expect fruity overtones and spicy aromas with a creamy body.
Dark roasted for a deeper flavour.
Available in 200g & 450g resealable bags.

Wonderful coffee not disappointed at all. Thank you for such a great service in these bizarre times and the hand written note on the receipt was such a personnel touch!
Can easily pick up chocolate notes, but leaves you with a slight spicy taste that I personally don't like.
It has a subtle interesting flavour. I found it worked well combined with Monsoon Malabar 50:50 to give it more body.
Tried this with a medium roast, then tried it dark roasted. The dark roast is much more to my taste, the aroma this coffee gives off is just heaven. The taste reminds me of 65% milk chocolate, creamy and smokey at the same time, heaven. Also, hat's off to pebble and pine for delivering so soon in these trying time's.
I'm a bean grinder and fresh coffee drinker so I like to get my coffee just right,
varying the grind of the bean, adding just the right amount of water,
I drink for the time of day,
Strong for breakfast,
stronger at lunch time,
milder for the evening lounge.
Sourcing the right beans means that no one country can supply my need,
I leave that to Pebble and PIne Ltd
