The green coffee beans were excellent once I had roasted them, Especially enjoy the monsoon malabar variety and the green ones allow me to be able to do a darker roast
Also the grand tour of coffee subscription sends a different coffee each month, now on the 5th month and not yet had one variety i have not liked
Overall, the descriptions that this site gives each of their coffees is really accurate (if I'm going off of the four that I've tried so far). This is my favorite of the four. It's quite a dark roast, so the dominant taste is the roast, not the coffee. It produces tons of crema. Once I got the dose right, this made a super nice balanced shot of espresso with a rich full body, just like it says. I think a super small amount of salt in the shot really complemented it well if you're into that. Note that you'll definitely want to use some water drops or spray when grinding though, because this is an extremely static prone coffee.
Lovely beans makes a fantastic coffee best to leave sitting in airtight container for a week before using
I tried a coffee on day 1 off delivery but it was too fresh and all crema 100% better a week later 👍

Monsoon Malabar is a classic dark roast coffee. I have used it in the past to make filter coffee. Now that I use a burr grinder on all coffee beans I decided to try it again; the result was the same. It makes an excellent cup of coffee but lacks the complexity and range of tastes of dark roasted Columbian or Sumatran.
Get it while you can, this is my favourite coffee.
