The majority of Peruvian coffee production comes from small farms owned and managed by the indigenous people of Peru.  Producers follow organic farm management practices and tend to cultivate coffee on just a few acres of land.  Crop diversity is of great importance and coffee grows amongst shade trees, bananas, corn, and beans.

The small coffee farms generally belong to regional cooperatives that focus on investing in social programs, using the collective resources generated from coffee sales.  Cooperatives focus on environmental training programs, healthcare initiatives, and educational opportunities.

This Peruvian coffee is very smooth with a low to medium acidity and is balanced with a nutty flavour and notes of chocolate and a hint of orange at the end.

Perfect

This is a perfectly balanced coffee for delicious milk based drinks and also enjoyable as an espresso shot. I have reordered it before I finished the first bag and I will order more. You cannot go wrong with this one, its smooth and very easy to drink

Liked the dark roasted as a morning coffee, a bit more earthy but still got the chocolate flavour, ground a couple of grams lighter than my normal grind and this was more to my liking.

Peru Norandino

We liked Peru Pichanaki very much and disappointed when it sold out, we tried Peru Norandino and found it a little weaker so next order we tried it again, dark Roast this was a mistake on our part as we found the dark roast lost some of the flavour nuances of medium roast. We will try again as we work our way through all of pebble and pine coffees that fit the style we like.

Wonderful flavour

My first tasting of this Peruvian dark roast coffee. it has wonderful notes of praline and we rare it in our top three beans for filter coffee.

Lovely balance

This is a medium bodied coffee with a lovely rounded balanced acidity. Notes of earthy chocolate are noticed as it cools slightly, giving way to a nutty aroma. Excellent morning coffee. The first Peruvian that I would buy again. My brewing method is mocha pot.
