Peru Norandino Medium Roast

The majority of Peruvian coffee production comes from small farms owned and managed by the indigenous people of Peru.  Producers follow organic farm management practices and tend to cultivate coffee on just a few acres of land.  Crop diversity is of great importance and coffee grows amongst shade trees, bananas, corn, and beans.

The small coffee farms generally belong to regional cooperatives that focus on investing in social programs, using the collective resources generated from coffee sales.  Cooperatives focus on environmental training programs, healthcare initiatives, and educational opportunities.

This Peruvian coffee is very smooth with a low to medium acidity and is balanced with a nutty flavor and notes of chocolate and a hint of orange at the end.

This coffee is medium roasted to bring out the lovely sweetness and fruity flavour characteristics of the coffee bean.
