An elegant coffee from Costa Rica, this one has flavours of stone fruits, chocolate, sweetness with a creamy body and medium acidity.

Due south of San José you will find the majestic mountains of Tarrazu. Sheltered between the Pacific Coast, the Central Valley and the high peaks of the country´s central mountain range, Tarrazu is one of the world’s most famous coffee growing regions. This magnificent area, fondly know as the Area of the Saints, is considered to yield the most superb Strictly Hard Bean coffees in Costa Rica, grown at altitudes between 1,200 to 2,000 metres above sea level. The rich volcanic soil, the high altitude, as well as the perfect combination of sunlight, temperature, and precipitation provide the essential components to produce an exceptional coffee.

Beautiful coffee!

I don't know a great deal about coffee - but I certainly know what I like. Inside the unassuming packaging is a beautifully, creamy, sweet coffee. It makes a fabulous drink-anytime (and I do!) treat! I make my coffee using the Sage Bambino Plus - Espresso + Oat Milk. Highly recommended! Thank you!

Beautiful coffee for Christmas

I was very pleased to receive my order from Dave at Pebble and Pine, with a thoughtful handwritten note, in time for the holiday season! I wasn't disappointed. This is a lovely smooth coffee with complex flavours and a chocolety- richness. I shall definitely buy again. I haven't yet tried the Ipanema which I bought in the same order, but I'm sure I won't be disappointed.
I would recommend Pebble and Pine for service, choice and quality. For me its been a great find for the New Year.

Nice

A nice mellow all round coffee. No bitter aftertaste. Very addictive.

Not quite our taste.

This is a good coffee. But it doesn't quite hit the mark for us. The overall flavour felt a little flat, allowing the stronger dark chocolate finish to leave a bitter taste.
